Shawville Chapter was instituted on the 28th day of May, 1958, with 38 charter members. We have 2 original charter members still active in our chapter. They are: Sister Mary Hodgins, and Sister Ann Riddell.

Over the years the chapter has had the following Worthy Grand Matrons and Worthy Grand Patrons:

1965 - 1966 Brother Kenneth Musgrove
1978 - 1979 Sister Edna Musgrove
1995 - 1996 Brother W. Webster Palmer
1997 - 1998 Sister Bernice M. Palmer
2007 - 2008 Brother Arthur Shore

Over the years our members have served as Grand Chapter Committee Members, Appointed Grand Officers, and Grand Representatives of other Grand Jurisdictions.
